Flirting for Fun and Business
So What Does It Take To Be A Great Flirt?
Flirting is generally understood to be the technique used to ‘pull’ a ‘chick’ or a ‘bloke’.
But it’s more than that and it’s much more than just a bit of a fun. It’s a universal and essential aspect of human interaction.
So what does it take to be a great flirt? In a word? Charisma.
When you think of some of the world’s most famous flirts – Bill Clinton, Princess Diana, Richard Branson – they all have charisma in spades but what they really have is the ability to build rapport instantly. That’s what charisma is. And by definition, that’s what flirting is.
Great flirts always have an objective.
Great flirts always use their skills for a purpose - to get a date, to make a sale, to secure a meeting. Ultimately, it’s to have influence. When we know our outcome, we’re able to direct our flirting (or rapport) skills, to achieve it.
Flirting can be learnt by anyone no matter how shy they are. Being a good flirt makes life easier. It’s theglue that builds, nurtures and sustains all relationships, personal or business.
The course will teach you how to:
- Increase your confidence
- Make a great first impression
- Build rapport quickly and easily
- Understand the importance of vocal tone
- Demonstrate active listening skills
- Read body language and other non verbal signals
- Overcome your fear of rejection
- Make others feel special
- Draw people to you
Who should do the course?
- Students just emerging into the world of parties and clubs, and international students looking to understand how to socialise in the western world.
- Those who are newly divorced, bereaved or separated who want to find romance, companionship or new platonic friends, but don’t know how.
- Men and women of all ages who have, for one reason or another, lost confidence in how to date, who need to ‘fine tune’ their antenna so they can read the cues accurately, people with low self esteem or for the chronically shy who’d like to develop their ‘small talk’ repertoire.

The Art of Small Talk
Flirting for Fun and Business
The sessions are a mixture of:
- Theory – the psychology of body language, understanding spatial relationships, Jungian theory re extroversion/introversion, personality preferences (MBTI theory) etc.
- Practical skills – how to make (subtle) eye contact, how to read body language, matching/mirroring, using the voice to build rapport.
- Planning – finding a ‘flirt buddy’, building a plan around what events and functions to attend, how to set objectives, how to get name cards printed, how to implement the theory and have fun with it. Most of all – how to take action so that you get the results you’re looking for.
- Feedback – we provide constructive advice on how you are currently perceived by others and what you need to do to create a different perception. We identify what qualities and skills you currently possess and set objectives as to what skills or qualities you would like to have ie. where you are now versus where you want to be.
Field Trips:
In Session One, you’ll be given the tools of how to flirt. You are then asked to go out that week and try the skills out. You attend the second session having practiced what you’ve learnt.
