How did you get started:
I was working for a major insurance firm (AXA) and running successful direct marketing campaigns. I was doing lots of the copy. Thinking I may be able to develop a sideline, I began telling people that I was now available to do copy. That lasted three weeks. I suddenly had too much work so was forced to resign my job. That was eight years ago.
What do you like about being a copywriter:
Being creative and having a working life that I control. There is also huge diversity in the work.
